Effectively demonstrating your impact to your key stakeholders e.g. donors and grant makers, partners, trustees, media and staff is essential for securing ongoing support for your work. Making a difference to the lives of individuals, communities, animals and/or the environments is probably the reason why your charity was established, so how can you show that you are making a real difference in order to build trust, rapport and credibility for your services?

This course will provide you with some simple tools and tips for starting this process yourself, without the need to spend money on buying in external consultants or expertise.

Target Audience: This course will benefit anyone who would like to implement a monitoring and evaluation system within their charity.  It will be particularly useful to those who are new to monitoring and evaluation and would like an introduction to key concepts.

Learning Outcomes: At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Define key terms used throughout monitoring and evaluation, including inputs, outputs and outcomes.

• Develop an impact measurement system for their charity.

• Use simple yet effective measurement tools to gather evidence of their impact.

• Analyse the information gathered to identify key impacts and the difference their organisation makes.

• Communicate their impact with stakeholders.
